BACKGROUND: Human Resources and Operational Support
TOP 3 ESSENTIALS: Dish Cloths, Toothpaste Tabs and Refillable Soaps
BIO: I am a proud first-generation immigrant, mom to two energetic boys, and someone deeply rooted in both sustainability and heritage. I was born into a Mexican family where tradition, community, and respect for nature have always been part of daily life. I grew up in the Valley, where my dad taught me early on that nature gives back what we give her—and that caring for the Earth is not just a choice, but a responsibility.
Entrepreneurship runs in my blood. My great-grandmother served as the town nurse, and both my grandmother and mom owned successful food businesses. I’m honored to carry on this legacy of strong, driven women by building a business grounded in purpose and care.
I am excited to be part of Refill Bodega because I believe sustainability should be for everyone. Long before it became a buzzword, our communities practiced mindful living—reusing, repurposing, and respecting the planet. My mission is to keep those traditions alive while making sustainable goods accessible to all, especially future generations who deserve a thriving, healthy world.
Thank you for being here, and for doing your part. Together, we can make an impact.

BACKGROUND: Marketing & Branding
TOP 3 ESSENTIALS: Eco dishcloths, dish blocks and Musewash detergent
BIO: My dad was a first-gen child of the Great Depression, and his low-waste/ resourceful mindset has always had a huge impact on me. But my true eco-awakening sparked from my love of the outdoors — hiking, camping, rock climbing, etc. — plus, I work in park conservation, where I see the challenges Mother Nature faces every single day. The damage is real and it’s happening fast. While nobody can solve it alone, we can all make an impact together with simple swaps and lifestyle shifts.
Unfortunately (much like the outdoors), the world of sustainability isn't always the most relatable or accessible for Black and Brown folks. I want to help change that. Refill Bodega is a welcoming, inclusive and relevant space.

roxi
BACKGROUND: Speech therapy, Professional necklace knot un-tangler
TOP 3 ESSENTIALS: Refillable hand sanitizer, eco-dishcloths and toilet/cleaning bombitas
BIO: I'm a Valley girl at heart with deep Guatemalan roots and a lifelong passion for sustainability.
As a first-generation Latina, I was raised by immigrant parents who mastered the art of reusing long before it became a movement. In our home, yogurt containers held frijoles, plastic bags became lunch sacks, and cookie tins doubled as sewing kits. Nothing went to waste—and that spirit of resourcefulness has stuck with me ever since.
Today, I channel that mindset into my eco-friendly mission: to make sustainable living approachable, joyful, and rooted in creativity. Whether it’s celebrating small wins or discovering new ways to tread lighter on the planet, I’m here to cheer you on in your own sustainability journey.
When I’m not talking all things low-waste, I work as a pediatric speech therapist—helping children find their voices. That work reminds me daily why this matters: a healthier, more sustainable world isn’t just a dream. It’s a responsibility—to them, and to the generations that follow.
